Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination

Version 3.7 arrived on 30 September 2026 and closes the Xuanfang saga. Its name is Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination. Two five-star Electro characters carry the banners. Hsin, the Moon Fox Sentinel from Mengzhou, ran the first phase. Suoming takes the second, from 22 October to 11 November. The update also adds a new area to Mengzhou and five new Echoes.

What an Echo is

If you are new, the Echo system is the thing to understand first. Enemies you defeat can become Echoes. You equip them, and each one gives you a skill taken from the enemy it came from. Your character is one half of your build; the Echoes are the other half. Five new ones in 3.7 means five new skills to try, and a few more fights worth repeating. It also makes ordinary enemies worth a second look, since the one you skip might carry the skill you want.

The map so far

  • Jinzhou, Gorges of Spirits, Mt. Firmament and Black Shores, from the early versions.
  • Rinascita, opened in 2.0, with Ragunna as its main city.
  • Mengzhou, the current region, with a new area in 3.7.

The pulls, in plain terms

A five-star is guaranteed within 80 pulls. If that five-star is not the featured character, the next one is. There is no PvP, so whoever you end up with only has to beat the game, not other players. That is the whole rulebook, and it is worth knowing before Suoming’s banner ends on 11 November. Pull for the character whose kit you want, not for the one the timer says is leaving.

The honest part: the install

Wuthering Waves asks for 150 GB on an SSD and 16 GB of RAM. The minimum graphics card is a GTX 1060 or an Intel Arc A380, with an RTX 2060 recommended. The 150 GB is the number to check. It is one of the larger installs among the games we cover, and the studio asks for an SSD rather than suggesting one.

If you have the space, 3.7 is a clean place to join: a story arc ends, a region grows, and the Echo system gives you something to chase that is not a banner. Hsin’s phase has already passed, so Suoming is the banner you will see today. Wuthering Waves is free on PC.
